Unit duration: 8 weeks
Problem: With the 2020 Olympics and 2019 Rugby World fast approaching, there is a need to design uniforms.
Design Brief: Your task is to design a particular uniform for a specific national team and for a specific occasion for the Sports Minister of that country “for the consideration”.
Design Specifications: Your product must:

Monday 18/02/2019 ~ Criterion B ~ Mr Watson grades SKETCHUP and students work on their first batch of uniform design idea. Pick a country, a sport, an event, a warm up jacket and draw 3 design ideas with a paper and coloured pens. The emphasis today is designing a particular item of clothing, for a particular team, for a particular country and also on one particular technology for designing clothing.
Wednesday 20/02/2019 ~ Criterion B ~ Mr Watson assesses Criterion A and student work on the second batch of uniform design ideas. Pick a new country, a new sport, an event, and using software/app create 3 shoe design ideas. The emphasis today is designing a particular item of clothing, for a particular team, for a particular country and also on one particular technology for designing clothing.

Friday 15/03/2019 ~ Criterion D ~ WRITE Report for Criterion D:
i. designs detailed and relevant testing methods, which generate data, to measure the success of the solution
ii. critically evaluates the success of the solution against the design specification based on authentic product testing
iii. explains how the solution could be improved
iv. explains the impact of the product on the client/target audience.
