Problem: In Langauge Studies, students have been exploring Wonder by R. J. Palacio https://wonderthebook.com/ and have a body of work (formative and summative tasks) and there is a need to keep all work in a portfolio, this portfolio needs an attractive and unique Title Page.

 

Design Brief: Your task is to create a well-designed title page using vector images.

 

Design Specifications: Your Wonder Portfolio title page must:

• use only a minimal amount of colours

• use an appropriate colour palette

• use a minimal amount of text

• only vector images 

• be distinct and attractive

• be clearly linked to Wonder and the student

• be clear in A2, A3, A4, A5 and A6 size

• demonstrate skills to use vector software:

  • Adobe Illustrator

  • Sketchbook

  • Infinite Design

  • Inkscape

  • CorelDRAW

  • Vecteezy

How do we make things aesthetically pleasing and to convey meaning?

 

Statement of Enquiry: Technology can be used to influence human reaction and a well-crafted design can convey a message and influence.
